Natural Full Flavor American Blend - Red Ribbon

The Full Flavor Natural American Blend is a combination of Flue-cured (Virginia), Burley, & Oriental tobacco leaves. This is just natural tobacco without chemical additives. It is premium tobacco. The mid-rib stem of the tobacco leaf has been removed. It is called STRIP TOBACCO in the tobacco trade. Marlboro is an American Blend cigarette.

Natural American Blend - Blue Ribbon

This blend is made from the same tobacco leaves as the Full Flavor American Blend but in a different combination of leaves. The difference between full flavored blends & this blend is in the impact or strength of the smoke. The full flavored blend of leaves is a more full bodied taste with more flavor than the Blue Ribbon blend. The Blue Ribbon Blend is slightly sharper and is lower in nicotine content. It is like the difference between a robust Brazilian coffee & a mellower Costa Rican coffee.

Natural Virginia Blend - Green Ribbon

The Natural Virginia Blend is an English Blend. The terms are interchangeable. The English prefer an all Flue-cured (Virginia) & Oriental blend over an American Blend (which also includes Burley). The Natural Virginia blend is for the smoker who prefers a traditional "old world smoke". American Spirit is an English Blend.

Natural Oriental Blend – Purple Ribbon

The Natural Oriental Blend is an exotic change of pace over other cigarette choices. Natural Oriental Blend is a departure from the mainstream cigarettes available today. This is a distinctly different blend of tobacco. It has unique taste characteristics, yet has the same impact & cleanliness of taste as the other blends.

What's Different About Pipe Tobacco ?

Pipe tobacco is marketed for use in pipes. It pays a much different rate of federal excise tax. In most states, it also pays a different amount, per pound, of state excise tax. Our all-natural pipe tobacco tastes as good as our cigarette tobacco, but it's much less expensive. It is available in a red bag with a robust flavor, a gold bag with a flavor we can't use words to describe, and a green bag with mentholated tobacco. Prices vary by state.

Our Blender: Our Tobacco blends are the best because we have the best Master Blender. The best comparison of what a tobacco blender does would be to compare a tobacco blender with a Master Vintner. The blender’s job is to select individual components and expertly blend them to produce a product that is pleasing to the taste of the smoker. It is also the blender’s responsibility to keep the blends consistent in flavor, strength, impact, and cleanliness of smoke.

Our blender spent nearly thirty years with one of the largest leaf tobacco processor in the world. He spent eight years in training, gaining intimate knowledge of all aspects of the tobacco business. He moved on to sales, operations and then to leaf purchasing, where he was ultimately responsible for all of his company’s purchases of tobacco in this country. He also worked in developing specialized blends for niche customers. It was there that he combined his in-depth knowledge of leaf tobacco with his development of smoking skills to gain the knowledge that he uses today to develop and manage our unique blends.
